Upper Bucklebury Memorial Hall Use of the Hall Car Park
The Car Park is, first and foremost for those using the hall. Regular groups and parties may well have quite large numbers of cars who come to drop off or collect or who stay for a period. Tennis players come by car as do some people using the playpark and bmx track.
We have an arrangement with Bucklebury Primary School that parents can park at the Hall while dropping off or collecting in order to ease congestion in Bury's Road.
As there are a limited number of car parking spaces the car park is often very full. If you want to organise a coach trip or a walk on the common or some other activity where several cars might be parked at the Hall please speak to the lettings secretary before organising your event. It is not fair to those paying to use the Hall to discover that there is not enough car parking space.
It may be better to speak to the church, or at the weekend to Chapel Row Surgery who may well have less need of car parking at the time you want it.
If we agree to let you park at the hall it will go into the online diary.
