Hire Rates
Note the following
- Rates are per hour. Hirers should pay for the time they occupy the hall including setting up before the event and cleaning afterwards.
You should, therefore, not collect the key until just before your hire starts and you should return it shortly after it ends.
In general a part hour is charged as an hour.
- Minimum hire period is three hours. But this may still be insuffient for a party since you must include all setting up and clearing up time
- Parishioner Rates represent a reduced rate for those living in Bucklebury hosting an event. Please do not book the hall for others.
- The hirer is responsible for leaving the hall as he found it
- We will send you a PayPal invoice for the hire and a second one for any indemnity deposit
- We require an indemnity deposit in case of breakages, damage, additional cleaning costs or hirers overstaying the agreed times. This is refunded after the hire.
- Bookings ending after 10.00pm are charged to midnight
- Our public entertainment licence runs until midnight. All events must be over by then

- Evening hire rates are from 6.00 pm so if you book 5 till 9 that would be one day and three evening hours
- If you hire the Hall on a regular basis you may be eligable for a significantly reduced rate. Please email MikeScholl@btinternet.com letting me know your requirements

Day Rate Applies Monday to Saturday Lunchtime so evenings during the week are at this reduced rate
Week Ends Run from Saturday lunchtime until Sunday evening but hours after 6.00pm are at the evening rate
Users hiring the Main Hall for a party or event have the use of the committee room which is therefore generally not available as a separate hire at the weekend.
Hires finishing after 10.00 pm are charged to midnight.
