The Heating system

The hall heating is in 3 zones:Main Hall, Committee room and Oak room

There is a single controller on the stage, located on the wall between the windows. This allows three start and stop times to be set for each zone. It is a seven day timer so each day can be programmed differently. Each zone has a thermostat so the temperature in each zone is also independent. The thermostats are sealed, so they should not be adjusted by users.
The controller is set so that the heating comes on at times when the zones are in use.
The Oak Room Zone is set to be ON all day as this zone is controlled by the thermostat in the room.
The convector fans (in the Main Hall and Oak Room) are activated by the water temperature in the pipes. So when the heating is turned on or off it takes a while for the water temperature to change and the fans to start or stop.
